Truth Unveiled

Psalms 42:7 ...... Deep calleth unto Deep ...

I want to talk a moment to the individual that would be hungry for more of "God."  If your satisfied with where you are in your walk with God ,  you probably will not get anything out of this.  Someone once said , that our only satisfaction , should be our "dissatisfaction" with where we are in God.  That should be , how we feel as Christians  , if we have an on going relationship with our Lord !
The answers we need for life's issues , are dependent upon the "truths" that are in our hearts , struggling to get out.  Whenever the truth in our heart , meets up with a truth in someone else's heart, they come together to form an answer.  Hearing the truth gives us options, doing the truth sets us free.  Free from what ? Whatever the problem is , at the moment the "present truth" was sent or revealed , to meet at that moment in time.   If it is accepted it starts to go to work on that issue.  If not, the issue remains the same or gets worse. Your mind will not understand it , but your spirit will.  Philippians 3:12 ..... but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.  In other words , I keep reaching. Sometimes , I do not know what I am reaching for , but" I will know it when I have found it.  #spiritMy friends, there is a vast supply of Gods Spirit, and he will continue leading you as you continue reaching.

Is God Mad At Me ?

Psalms 30:5 ... for his anger endureth but a moment ; in his favour is life:

The caricature I chose to put in this blog message is not unusual.  Millions of people have buried lost loved one's and will continue to do so , until the end of time as we know it.  My wife and I have sat down and tasted the bitter tears of losing a child our selves. The first reaction of such a loss is Why ? If one is a believer in Christianity as I am , "automatically"  I want to know , "what have I done" that such a thing should come upon my family. When one is senior in years , one can expect it sometime , but when some one is young , it hit's you in a most traumatic way. Thank God through prayer and time , we were able to deal with it . One of Satan's biggest weapons that he constantly pulls out of his arsenal , is the question : " is God mad at me "? When we pray , and seek the Lord for thing's that seem to fall on a deaf ear , that is where Satan goes to embark his attack. The word declares , that he is the accuser of the brethren.    Revelation 12:10 .. for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.                                                                 Folk's , If God was mad at us it wouldn't even make sense , if we gave it any thought at all.  After all,  "he is God" , and  he certainly has more to do than get mad at us pitiful human's. We would make a poor match in a fight with him, wouldn't we ? The word say's we are already under his wrath if we are living in willful sin.  Once we have become believers in the plan of salvation , we are no longer , or ever shall be under his wrath . "And" to ice the cake ,  Jesus came and took all the wrath against sin upon himself.     When God corrects his children , it is done "exclusively in love , and for the well being of whom ever it may be.  Never is it done in destruction.  When issues arise that cause "questions" that can not be answered , we must "walk it out by faith" until the answer comes , and they will come.                                                                                                       Proverbs 23:18 .. For surley there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off ... KJV    Friend , God is not mad at us !

Love" Give's The Answer

#It  is always interesting for me to read about Solomon.  Only God could give such wisdom to a man like that.  The crown of wisdom that established him as a wise king , was his Judgment concerning the  two harlots.  They both "claimed"  to be the mother of one child. The one rolled over on her child in her sleep , and it died. She then slipped her dead child in the bed with the other woman , and claimed her child as hers. Then , the two women came to Solomon to solve the puzzle before the people.  He called for a sword to split the baby in half and give each a half of the child. The one woman agreed to that and the real mother cries out , do not kill the child , but give it to the other woman , so it wouldnt be killed. Solomon then discerns the real mother by her love and willingness to sacrifice  the loss of her child , so that it could live .  All that and without a" DNA"  test.  Anytime we run up against hard decisions , we need to put the love test to it.  Love will always win out .  May your path be guided by Love.

The Dreamer

Proverbs 29:18  Where there is no vision ,the people perish ....

Anyone who has had some religious upbringing has probably heard of Joseph.  He was mockingly called the dreamer by some jealous brothers.  In short "God" gave him some dreams and the ability to interpret them, "very rare gift that comes from God" in which very few people if any , has the real deal.  All circumstances was against him ," however" he stayed with what he believed and became a ruler of the Egyptian Nation at that period of time.
The desire of our dreams  seem to diminish as we go through our aging process , facing battle after battle with what life throws at us "however" one thing
is sure in this life ,  if God has put a dream in our hearts , it's a sure thing if we hold fast and never quit , for "God is not a man" that he should lie. Go forth in confidence and make your dream a reality , for if God gave it you, then we all shall benefit from it.
What good is a person's songs , music , or anything he could contribute to this life , if he confines it to the basement or garage ? Our nation was made great through our inventors and dreamer's .

God bless you on your journey !

Is This Really A Short Cut ?

Isaiah 55:9 are my way's higher than your way's ..
I could not tell you how many times I have been deceived by shortcuts. I transport big trucks across the United States and time is of the essence. There's always a schedule to follow or the gates will close , and you will not meet your deadline resulting in "putting a rush" on things. A four wheeler  "a term used for cars" can make 8 green lights while you are shifting gears making two if your lucky. When the day is over, you lost 2 hours .
Naturally when I think I can take a short cut I am game , usually regretting it, telling myself , that will never happen again, but it does. I noticed we have a propensity to do that in our Christian walk . A shorter way to get our prayers answered , or a myriad of other things relative to it. God does not seem to pay attention to shortcuts. When we finally succumb to doing things the way he so ordered them , it finally works. In the long haul , his ways are always better.
God bless you on your journey !

#God or Magic ?

#2 Kings 5:11 .. I thought surley he would come out and wave his hand over the disease and heal it.

I was delivering a truck in Vegas some time back , and drove by the MGM Grand  on my way to the airport , and noticed David Copperfield was going to be performing his magic show there as the weeks would follow. That made me think about a story in 2 Kings about a man named Naaman. He was a captain of the Syrian army and had done great exploits ,  but he had an issue with the fact that he was a "leper". He was told by his maid if he got to Israel , there was a prophet there that could pray for him , and he would get healed.  In short he went to the prophet and was told to go dip 7 "times" in the river Jordon. It was muddy and he lost his temper and said something classical of us humans.  2 Kings 5:11 ...  I thought surely he would come out and wave his hand over the disease and heal it.
He was wanting some kind of magic wand so to speak , and there wasn't going to be any.
He finally obeyed and did what he was instructed , and received his healing.
I was thinking of the number of times in my own life that I had expected "God" to do it the way I thought it should be , and nothing happened.  I believe God does miracles because the "Word" says he does, but he is not doing any David Copperfield tricks. He can and will do mighty wonders and acts according to circumstances , faith , and so on ,  but lets remember he's a " realist God" dealing in reality.  Peter walked on water  , but that doesn't mean we can , unless we have divine permission as he did . That's the Catalyst , "divine permission".

Ever Burn A Book ?

Jeremiah 23:29  Is not my word like fire saith the Lord ...

We have a pit for burning papers and such , so as not to cram a bunch of papers in the trash bags. When I am at home I usually burn it. Ever find those unwanted magazines or book related items are difficult to burn?  When you get some pages burning you have to keep turning them to burn. It can be agitating , especially if your in a hurry. Ever hear the term on fire for God ? When one of our pages burns out, we should keep turning another one and keep it burning. There was a prophet in the bible named Jeremiah . He was told to pronounce "Judgement" on Israel for doing wickedness over and over. God even told him ,
Their not going to listen , but do it anyway. He got so discouraged at one point, he wanted to just forget all of it and start a hotel business in the dessert.  Jermemiah 8:9  He said: Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men..... When he tried to quit , he said God had a fire locked up in his bones.
I can relate to a smaller degree . If you were once on fire for God and feel like you are burning out , turn the page and keep on burning my friend .

God bless you on your journey !
