Proverbs The Wisdom Of God 6

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a mans heart; but it is the Lords purpose that prevails  [.NIV]

This is one of the most loaded scpriptures in proverbs. Oh how true it is. Sometimes it takes years to sort through while plan after plan ebbs away and comes to nothing. For some it seems they discover
Gods purpose more quickly and easily than others. Of course everything is dependent on the persons make up and what Gods purpose is for them. God uses every trial and problem that person has ever been through to mold them and incorporates it in his plan for them. This is the key word in this verse. { His Plan ] We as humans all to often make our plans and then ask God to bless them and wonder why they never worked. I have been through this many times. I would never of thought my life would go in the direction it has, for I had many plans that just never culminated. Did I mean well ? Most certainly I did, but well meaning or not, the fact remains, my plans were not on Gods agenda. If the Lord has a plan or purpose in a particular thing , no amount of praying ,crying , believing or otherwise will change it. Can you imagine a man trying to change Gods plan to stop the flood with Noah ? Won't happen, didn' happen and Gods plan prevailed. In a general sense, this world is headed for destruction and will eventually culminate at the battle of armagedden and no angel, devil, or man will stop it. As I said earlier, this scripture is loaded with myriads of information and we just touched on a little basic point.
So where does this leave us? We simply sharpen our skills and talents as best we can and yield them to the Lord for the results, or we can go our own way and eventually our own way will not prevail.
May God bless you as you seek him for his plans in your life!

Proverbs The Wisdom Of God Series 4

Proverbs 21:20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

The treasure in this verse is refering to ones faith. Faith will light your lamp and oil will keep it burning. The verse goes on to say the foolish will spend it up. Whats that mean ?
Time and time again I saw this work in the lives of countless folk including myself. A person can
can build up their faith and use it foolishly and when something arises thats really of great importance
it seems to escape us. One can find himself getting lazy and caught up in mundane things and begin to neglect his spiritual life. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. One must be wise and
keep his storehouse filled and prayer keeps the anointing oil flowing. Lord give us this day our daily bread.
God bless you as you seek him!

Proverbs "The Wisdom Of Go" Series 3

Proverbs 27:7  The Full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul , every bitter thing is sweet .

I have seen the principle of this scripture working in many areas of folk's lives as well as mine.
When the "Spirit of God"  gives an individual a hunger for something , he will go to great lengths to
satisfy it. In the case of trying to satisfy our hunger for the truth of "God's word "even the unpleasant truths" we normally wouldn't care for,  seem to taste sweet to us.  The revelation of Gods word comes in two forms ,"Milk and Meat".  Once one has tasted the deep truths of the Word , it is hard to settle for the milk. Unfortunately, we live in a time , where the meat has been picked to the bone.  The new "Christian
would not see this as quick as a "veteran" of the word , and in hard times, even the bitter is sweet to the veteran of the word.           Meat only comes with the sacrifice of "praying and study" of the word , and taking time to be with "God".   I see people eating the bitter things of  "God" because they are so hungry , they will eat anything.  "Ladies and Gentlemen",  Let us pray that God would raise up men and women "all over the world" that will do "God", bidding , and so be ready , to give wise answers to "those that ask !

Proverbs The Wisdom Of God 5

Proverbs 21:31  The horse is prepared against the day of battle; but saftey is of the Lord.

Notice in this verse the horse is prepared for battle , but that alone is not enough. It is a co-operation with the Lord. We can sharpen our skills and talents and we should [ but ] where and when we use them should be left up to our Lord or could end up with regrettable circumstances. Millions of folk are using their talents for worldly gain or profit only to end up in the ditch of life [ for safety is of the Lord ]. Alot of times we prepare the horse for battle and just go rushing into it without the Lords blessing and get mad at him for the outcome. Many armies have been bigger and better and lost the fight The tiny country of.Israel has won nearly impossible battles because saftey is of the Lord.Let us prepare ourselves for battle[ thats our part ] but never leave out our Lords plan for us. [ Thats his part. ] God bless you in your lifes preparation.

Proverbs: The "Wisdom Of God Series " Part 2

Proverbs 22:18 .... For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; for they shall withal, be fitted in thy lips .

What a great thing to meditate on Gods Word!   I remember  Proverbs 22:18
opening up in my life.  Remember the karate kid movie ?  The Asians knew of this principle for many years.  No , It never just happened in the movie.  The" idea" of it in the movie , was for the "teacher" to give the student some work to do, thus getting work done , but at the same time , teaching him karate. The kid got furious and thought teacher wasn't teaching him.  When the "teacher applied pressure and attacked him , the student discovered , he had learned the karate moves , and felt some what shamed.  Gods word works that way. When pressure is applied in our lives , and the word is fitted in our lips, we find that all the study and meditation , even though it seemed boring" comes to life and nothing was wasted ! That has happened numerous times in my life , as it probably has yours.  Keep up your word study and "they"  the words of life", shall be fitted in your lips for such a time as this.

Interview On The George Espenlaub Show

I had a unique experience on my way to New Mexico the other day. I met a gentleman named George Espenlaub through the enternet, Who has a live radio show nightly at 6:30 pm. He had been intrested in my music for which I am thankful. He invited me to be a guest on one of his programs and showcase some of my songs. Every time we set up a schedule I would be out on the road. { I deliver trucks across this great nation of ours.} Well, through modern technology he was able to set the interview up by cell phone and I got in my hotel that evening and had the interview. God made a way where there was no way. Anyone intrested in checking it out can click on the following link. Hopefully it will be a blessing to you. God Bless!
